Flu Shot packets are going out today at ESD! EHS will receive these in English Classes. These need to be turned in as soon as possible, but no later than next Tuesday, September 24th. The flu clinic is scheduled for Thursday, October 3rd at EHS and EES. ¡Los paquetes de vacunas contra la gripe se enviarán hoy en ESD! EHS los recibirá en las clases de inglés. EHS would like to thank England 4H Club for their Amazon Gift Card Donation! Starting tomorrow ESD will be adding an attendance absentee call to our daily routines. This call system will automatically call parents/guardians when a student is marked absent. A partir de mañana, ESD agregará una llamada de asistencia ausente a nuestras rutinas diarias. Este sistema de llamadas llamará automáticamente a los padres/tutores cuando un estudiante sea marcado ausente.

The first week of our Fall Book Fair was a huge success! Students made their wish lists during their library class time, they shopped, and all delighted at the transformation of our library into a fun bookstore. The book fair runs through Parent-Teacher conferences on September 23rd. In regard to attendance on 9/17/24, both EHS & EES WILL take attendance so that we know who all is present on campus but it will NOT count against students attendance if they are absent. If they have a game (EHS), students need to be there prior to the time their coach has set to leave the school.

EHS students received their interim report today. These need to be signed and returned to the students English teacher next week. For detailed grades, you can login to HAC to view the classwork for each of your students classes.

The high school was placed on Code Yellow which is a Precautionary Lockdown for Discipline, Emergency Personnel, etc. Code Yellow is strictly to keep students and staff in the classroom while staff and emergency personnel take care of the matter. There was not a threat to students or staff. There was no disruption of the school day. Instruction/Work continued. The Code Yellow Precautionary Lockdown was lifted 3:30 and we have resumed our regular school day.
