Class of 2024: The TRIO - Central, AR Educational Opportunity Center is hosting an enriching College Crash Course to equip you with essential tools for success in college or trade school. Our demographic is low-income and/or first generation students from Pulaski, Lonoke, or Saline counties. While housed on the UALR campus, we do not recruit for them. We are looking to help clients further their education regardless if it is trade school, career and technical education, two year, or four year postsecondary training.

EHS kicked off its summer reading program today. Students were able to choose their favorite books from a variety of genres. All books are free and the students get to keep them. The books have a corresponding Renaissance Accelerated Reader 360®
quiz. Students can read the books this summer and have a jumpstart on their AR points when school starts.

Just a reminder: No one is eligible to take semester tests early unless it is a medical reason or you are continuing education during that testing period. We had snow days scheduled on the calendar for May 28-31 when the calendar was posted at the end of last year. Therefore, these days were not recently added. They have always been there because we are required to include snow days in our calendar. The last day of school is May 31st. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the EHS Office.

10th grade students built balloon cars in Coach Benson & Coach Willis’s class. Students enjoyed designing multiple different cars, measuring their feet & speed of their cars in seconds. Students converted feet/s to mph! Aden Scribner and Josue Mejia logged the longest distances at 68 and 67 feet!
2023-2024 ESD Yearbooks are being distributed today at EES and EHS today, May 16th!! We have 20 extra copies! If you wish to purchase one of the remaining yearbooks, please email Mrs. Brittney Robinson (brittney.robinson@englandlions.net) or come by the EHS office!
It's Junior Take Over Day!!!!
EHS 8th Grade Arkansas History students enjoyed a day in downtown Little Rock. The students toured the Clinton Library and the State Capitol. Students were able to go inside the Treasury Vault and hold $100,000!
