It's Junior Take Over Day!!!!
EHS 8th Grade Arkansas History students enjoyed a day in downtown Little Rock. The students toured the Clinton Library and the State Capitol. Students were able to go inside the Treasury Vault and hold $100,000!
Thank you so much to the EHS PTO for providing us a nacho bar today for lunch! The Spot in England did a great job catering! It's been a great Teacher/Staff appreciation week! Thank you again!

Semester Tests at EHS will begin on Wednesday, May 29th!
It's Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week at ESD! EHS PTO provided breakfast consisting of donuts & fruit, chalked in front of the doors & hung banners in the hallways for EHS Staff! EES PTO provided Nothing Bundt Cakes for EES Staff & a banner outside for them! We appreciate both PTO's & wish our staff a wonderful week at ESD!
Today was our seniors last official day on campus! After senior checkout they all received their cap & gowns, had their last walk through EHS halls and walked through EES with the kindergarten graduates! After the graduate walk, we held a signing ceremony in the EHS Gym for seniors to sign a poster of where they will be going after graduation! Also, there will be more pictures to come once we receive them!

Tuesday, May 7th EHS will have the Junior & Senior High Athletic Banquets! Junior High Athletic Banquet will be at the EHS Gym at 5:00! Senior High Banquet will be at Landmark Baptist Church at 6:30!
May 6-10 is Mental Health Awareness Week! Please join ESD on Thursday, May 9th and wear green to promote mental health awareness!
Here is the AP Testing Schedule for any student grade 10-12 taking an AP Course! Please make sure your student is in attendance on these days!
EHS EAST students Owen Edwards and Caleb Gay attended drone mapping training at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville on May 2. Drone mapping is the top drone application for drones throughout the world. It is the use of aerial data to create 2D and 3D maps, models, and other outputs. We are so proud of these students.

EHS held a BETA/National Honor Society Awards Banquet on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in the EHS Gym. Students were awarded certificates for earning a 3.0 for BETA Club and 3.5 for National Honor Society. We also had drawings for gift cards for students who were present! Seniors who earned the National Honor Society Hall of Fame (and were present at the banquet) were put in a drawing for a HP Notebook Laptop! Congratulations to Erica Vega and Jake Childress for winning the laptops this year! We are so proud of each of the students who earned these awards! Congratulations!!

Congratulations to EHS students Owen Edwards and Caleb Gay for becoming Certified Remote Pilots from the FAA. They earned this certification by demonstrating an understanding of regulations, operating requirements, and procedures for safely flying drones. We are so proud of these England High School EAST students for all their hard work in earning this certification to fly a drone under the FAA's Small UAS Rule.
East at England High School was one of 5 schools invited to STEM day at the Capitol. Today, they will be meeting with Legislature Roger Lynch and Senator Stephanie Flowers about the importance of East and how it has impacted the lives of our students and community. We are proud of all that our East program is accomplishing!
EHS will have an awards banquet for National Honor Society and BETA Club on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 5:30 in the EHS Gymnasium! Please join us in celebrating and honoring these students!!
